I, Rakesh Patel, am the author of "Movement Karma: How You Move Matters" a book that helps people prevent as well as fix their pain problems on their own.
I always wanted to create a guide (an instruction manual for human body) that can help people save their hard earn money and precious body by providing them with the crucial knowledge in the most simplified manner. I strongly believe people should neither feel helpless when it comes to a pain-free living due to a very high healthcare related cost nor should they wait for their body to be in pain. As a physical therapist with expertise in movement science, I can certainly say that most of the pain problems could easily be prevented as well as fixed with right knowledge at the right time.
I graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University. After obtaining a Master’s of Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a fellowship in "Movement Science," I now specialize in Movement Systems in Orthopedic Science. I am also a board-certified orthopedic specialist. I have expertise and profound interest in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain syndromes. With years of clinical experience in treating patients using my expertise in movement science, I have developed highly effective clinical protocols for several musculoskeletal injuries, which I use regularly with my patients.
I really hope you would find my book very helpful in keeping your body healthy, pain-free and ready for any activity you may want to participate at the best of your ability.
Last but not the least, my book will definitely help you save a lot of money which you would otherwise spend on co-pays, deductibles, medications, and diagnostic testing.
Using my unique skills in “movement science,” I do not only diagnose your pain problem, but I also develop a truly specific treatment plan based on analysis and understanding of all the movement related factors, regardless of how small or how big, that are playing a significant role in your pain problem. By doing so, I greatly increase your chances of becoming pain-free.
